(J-STD-004): ORM1 WEEE / RoHS compliant

Description

EO-Y-011 based on halogen-substituted organic compounds offers the advantages of a very wide effective temperature range (approx. 150-290 ° C). It can, therefore, be used for numerous soldering and tinning processes, whereby practically all Sn / Pb alloys (also with the addition of Ag) and pure tin can be used. One of the preferred areas of application for EO-Y-011 is the tinning process in electronics, especially in the case of printed circuit boards. Strand tinning, as well as in cable assembly. In this process of hot metallization, the low-viscosity product can be applied to the boards by all known methods – e.g. by foaming, spraying, brushing, dipping, etc. Pre drying is not absolutely necessary, but it can favor the workflow. This special flux contains a UV activator, which enables precise application by UV detection. In practice, it has been shown that – if used correctly – the printed circuit boards soldered with this flux can be largely avoided. In general, assemblies soldered with flux, which are subsequently painted or cast, should first be checked for compatibility of the coating media with the flux residues. If aqueous FM systems are used, the IC test using needle adapters can also be impaired. Due to the high alcohol content, EO-Y-011 is quick-drying and the active ingredients contained are water-soluble. This also applies to the flux residues remaining after tinning, provided the product has not been subjected to extremely high thermal loads. The usual washing systems with warm water are used for post-cleaning, the effect of which is achieved by brushing or the like. can be supported.
